India's big November weekends, 12 to 22 Nov: what's on and what it takes

The middle of November is when India's live calendar stops pretending to pace itself. Over the next fortnight, Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Racecourse hosts an art fair and then a dance-music show, Guns N' Roses play two Indian cities, and Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai all have something big on the same weekends.

Here's what's coming, with dates checked against the listings, and what each one asks of the crew behind it. Dates do move, so always check the ticketing page before you plan around them.

12 to 15 Nov · Mumbai · ART MUMBAI 2026 The fourth edition, at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, with 94 Indian and international exhibitors, a speaker series and guided walks, according to the organisers' September release. The release says 12 to 15 November; the District ticket page shows public sessions from Friday 13 to Sunday 15, with gates at 11 AM. Check which day your pass covers.

Sun 15 Nov · Mumbai · NO ART Mumbai The ANOTR-founded music and art festival makes its India debut at Bayview Lawns, Mazgaon, per Time Out's November listing. The event was postponed from March, and back then its website and ticketing pages showed different November dates, so confirm before you go.

Tue 17 Nov · Guwahati · Guns N' Roses At Khanapara Ground, the second stop of the India run.

20 to 22 Nov · Mumbai · NCPA International Jazz Festival Three nights at NCPA, Nariman Point, with Antonio Sánchez and Thana Alexa on the closing night, per Time Out Mumbai.

Sun 22 Nov · Mumbai · Anyma presents ÆDEN Back at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, a week after the art fair closes. Time Out lists a 4 PM start.

What it means on the ground

1. One racecourse, two very different crowds, one week apart. An art fair wants slow, quiet flow: guided walks, gallery hosts, a cloakroom, people who can answer "where's booth 40?". A dance-music night wants fast gates, wristband checks and a bar team that can handle the rush. The same ground, rebuilt and re-staffed in days, is a real test of teams and suppliers.
2. A big rock show on a weekday. Guns N' Roses in Guwahati is on a Tuesday, so the crowd arrives straight from work and school, in a compressed window before doors. Plan for a steeper peak at the gate, and extra marshals on the walk from the road, since many fans and crew will be finding that route for the first time.
3. Same night, same city. On 22 November, Mumbai has the jazz festival closing night and a racecourse dance show, and Bengaluru has an arena concert. Good crew get booked early on nights like these, so promoters still planning rosters should move now.
4. Ticket rules travel to the gate. With shows sold on a single platform, the gate is where wrong-day passes and third-party tickets get found. Brief the scanners on what to do, and keep a help desk away from the lane.
